A fun treat this week was visiting the studio for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit! I got a tour of the sets and a slick look behind the scenes of some of the magic used to make a TV show.

There are 2 outdoor shots. The first one is the view outside of the studio. If you were outside, you would never know there were film studios inside.

The other outdoor photo is of the Flagship Diner and the SVU crew filming there. It’s maybe 6 blocks or so away (10-15 minute walk) from where we live and a block over from my train station. So I stopped by for a few minutes to get some more TV magic.

Fun fact: Flagship Diner was the first restaurant we ate at as a family.
