My aunt and uncle stopped by this weekend to visit and celebrate D’s 2nd birthday. It has been wonderful and fun seeing them! D LOVED seeing them and spent most of the time giggling. These photos are when he had opened most of the gifts they had brought (thank you!).

This morning we went to the park. We had this car so I got to take D’s big toys and his new tricycle. Sadly, he’s not yet able to reach the peddles on the tricycle, but he was very happy being pushed around the playground. He also rode his scooter which he just started doing earlier this week.

Time for D’s swim class. Today he did a lot of swimming underwater. He did quite a bit of diving off of the side of the wall. He went solo with the instructor while mom stepped to a corner of the pool (he was not a happy camper).

This was also the first class where he called it quits early. He persuaded mom to take him to the pool steps. Then he climbed out of the pool himself telling mom he was done.

After the pool, we headed a block over to a park. He enjoyed running around and going down the slide. There were many smiles and giggles shared today…
