First up is the AIY voice kit for raspberry pi. It enables the pi to behave like Google home. And it’s made out of cardboard do its nice and inexpensive (although maybe not as durable or pretty).
The second project is writing up the power outlet with relay to an Arduino. The Arduino will just be a fancy USB interface to the outlets so the outlets could be controlled by either a pi or a Mac. (I’m undecided at the moment). Will likely use Johnny5 on the Arduino to make life easy.
