If you’ve gotten tired of seeing me post photos of D or Olessia, you may now rejoice for there will be a 4 week break from my usual photos of them. As I type this, they are half way to Moscow, Russia.

To take my stress level to the deep end, D complained of a tooth ache and was finding food painful to eat. We took his temperature twice and it registered as a mild fever. So off to the urgent care we went just a couple hours before their flight. I’m certainly glad we did. It turned out to be a really sore throat (not strep) and is common with little kids. It’ll pass in 5-10 days. So a bummer way to start a trip. Olessia has some over the counter meds with her to help him out. He’ll have great care with her on the plane and excellent care when they get to grandma’s in Russia.
