Treat time! Our neighbor works at the NY Aquarium! She was very generous and gave us aquarium passes! We thought today would be a good day to go. The NY Aquarium has been a bit of a miss for us in the past. Due to Hurricane Sandy, a lot of the exhibits and what not are inaccessible (even still today!). So in the past, they have their main hall open and for us, that would be about 20 minutes to go through.
Today, they had the shark exhibit open! Wow! It was very well done and very nice! The tanks are very large and stuffed with fish! D enjoyed exploring. They had a “stomp out trash” activity which kept D coming back for more (it was an Xbox Kinect sensor and kids had to “stomp” on trash and the sensor would pick up their stomp and the trash would dissolve away). I think we hung out in this exhibit for over an hour.
