Figured before the weather got too funky, I took D out to Corona Park / Meadow Lake. Reddit has an online photography class (reddit.com/r/photoclass2021/) and I’ve been slacking. I printed out the first camera class + assignment (focal length) and had D read it and ask questions. Then we loaded up and headed out.
We got out, found a spot, and turned back since it was starting to drizzle (and not the light misty drizzle, but the big drop here and there kind). We get back to the car and it stopped. So, we took a chance and completed the assignment and ended up walking around taking pictures. It stayed dry the whole time.
D was out shooting with my old Nikon D80. D is 5 years old. The camera is 13 years old. I’m itching to see the photos, but will wait for when D is ready tomorrow. He was quite the photographer. Rather brave too (I’d say) – taking people shots without hesitating. I’m curious to see what caught his eye…
