Olessia and D dropped me off at New York Presbyterian in Flush. Because of COVID and for their safety, they could only drop me off. Word at admissions was they just recently started performing procedures again. Two weeks ago, they weren’t even performing emergency procedures. They are still not doing elective procedures at this time, so I’m guessing mine falls under “emergency” then? Whoa. Olessia caught this on video. I was chasing and being chased. My watch said it was for about 7 minutes (doesn’t seem like much). It apparently surprised my heart. I ended up pretty winded and my heart was racing. This was on Sunday the 26th.An hour later, my heart was still chugging away, even when sitting at the dinner table and not moving much. I think today is the first time at seeing a glimmer of hope. The number of hospitalizations and intubations have been trending down for the last couple days. The true test is to see if they continue to trend down over the next week or so. We got luck with an Amazon order earlier this week.
